The arts have controlled my path through life, and ever since I can remember, I have been creating in one medium or another. My first camera was the family Nikkormat FTN (which I still have and use). With this camera I discovered the joy of the darkroom during my high school years.
Photography fell by the wayside as I established my career in another field of art: music and sound. Years later, I re-discovered my love of photography when my better half presented me with my first DSLR.
This site is a collection of some of my favorite images and a few thoughts about gear, as I continue my journey with the art of photography. It serves to inspire me to record my fleeting passage through time.
My favorite subjects include nature, outdoor adventure and our foster dogs.
When I’m not manipulating sound or light, I enjoy hiking up mountains, playing drums, guitar or cello, a good strong cappuccino, drawing/painting and hanging out with my husband (not necessarily in that order).
